Powersports Parts Dismantling & Inventory Technician
Join Our Growing Powersports Parts Business!
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving the dismantling of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports vehicles for used parts sales.
If you enjoy working with machines, using tools, figuring out how things come apart, and working independently, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Dismantle motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports vehicles.
- Safely and efficiently remove engines, suspension components, electrical parts, body panels, driveline components, and other parts.
- Identify parts and determine which components are suitable for resale.
- Inspect parts for condition, damage, and wear.
- Organize, and properly label parts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Learn to identify different makes, models, and powersports components.
What We're Looking For
- Basic mechanical knowledge is required.
- Previous experience working on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, automobiles, or small engines is preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organized and dependable.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn new machines and parts identification.
- Experience with eBay, online sales, inventory, or shipping is a plus, but not required.
The Right Person Will Be
- Dependable and punctual.
- Mechanically curious and willing to learn.
- Comfortable getting dirty and working with used machines.
- Able to stay focused and productive throughout the day.
- Careful with parts and tools.
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job correctly rather than just getting it done quickly.
What We Offer
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Paid time off
- Casual, hands-on work environment
This is a great opportunity for a hobby mechanic, powersports enthusiast, automotive technician, or someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to turn that interest into a job.
No professional powersports experience? That's okay. If you have basic mechanical ability, know how to use tools, show up reliably, and are willing to learn, we are willing to train the right person.
