Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Overnight! This vital role keeps our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are impeccably cleaned and sanitized. Working overnight shifts, you'll be the backbone of our food service operation, supporting culinary teams and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Your dedication helps us deliver exceptional hospitality experiences and ensures our kitchen is always prepared for the next day’s service.
Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support culinary staff during overnight hours
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with food handling as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Help with bussing tables and clearing service areas in the event of late-night or early-morning functions
- Perform routine cleaning duties to uphold the highest standards of sanitation throughout the kitchen
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work overnight shifts with energy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and efficiency
- Experience with kitchen equipment cleaning or basic food preparation is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive approach to supporting culinary operations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
