Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-8th grade populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
- Ability to work on-site (teletherapy is not offered for this position)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and conduct evaluations for a diverse caseload of K-8th grade students
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to track student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student records and progress reports
- Participate in problem-solving meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school setting
- Stay informed with current best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
