Join Allied Universal as an armed Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and communicate with property management or authorized contacts regarding access requests.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues.

Support daily property operations by assisting with deliveries, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and providing information to occupants and visitors in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military experience or degree in criminal justice.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Guard card is required.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
