American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother Baby unit position requiring prior Mother Baby experience and NRP certification.
-
Work in a 34-bed private couplet room Mother Baby unit within a hospital setting
-
Provide care for mother-baby couplets with a patient ratio of 1:3-4
-
Utilizes Alaris pumps and bilirubin blankets/lights
-
Cerner EMR used for charting
-
Shift runs from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
-
Weekend shifts required with no on-call responsibilities
-
Floating to L&D and NICU units as needed to assist
-
Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Advanced 9th Edition) certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior Mother Baby unit experience required for consideration
-
Experience caring for post-delivery patients on Magnesium Sulfate preferred
-
STABLE certification preferred

Travel RN experience preferred

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Perform circumcisions and other typical Mother Baby unit procedures
-
Join a team-oriented unit that values collaboration and teaching

Navy blue and white scrub attire required

No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
