Position Summary:
We are looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our team at our Cedar Rapids, IA location.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to work on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Kitchen Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve food items at all stations. Clean equipment, utensils, and tools as needed at each station. Maintain product quality by following recipes, standard procedures, and safety rules. Work with team members as needed, including opening and closing the kitchen for the day. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen by following food handling procedures and standards. Be flexible with hours of operation on a regular basis during different seasons of the year as weather conditions may require some shifts to operate during other seasons of the year if there are major events or festivals in the area that require extra kitchen staff. This includes working on holidays and weekends if needed.
