Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems to process customer orders, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Take customer orders with a friendly attitude, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dining space, and workstations to meet sanitation and food safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, ovens, and food prep tools.
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene protocols to ensure safe consumption.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive dining experience.
- Process cash transactions accurately while balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking efficiently in food preparation, order taking, and cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills are essential for maintaining speed without sacrificing quality.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
- Prior kitchen or café experience can provide a solid foundation for excelling in this energetic role.
