We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting our products through effective upselling techniques.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
- Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer experience.
- Utilize POS systems and cash registers accurately to process transactions efficiently.
- Upsell products by suggesting complementary items based on customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and product displays.
- Handle returns and exchanges following store policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our community.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform product demos and effectively upsell items to customers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills.
