We are currently seeking a Medical Front Desk Representative for a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00 at our Stuart and Port St. Lucie offices. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Patient care is our top concern, and because we can provide both diagnostic and rehabilitative services, our patients know they can depend on our team for all their needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a friendly, motivated, and organized applicant who enjoys helping others and working in a team environment. The ideal applicant will be comfortable multitasking, communicating with patients, and learning new systems and processes.
We welcome applicants who are new to the healthcare field and are interested in learning and building a career in a medical office environment. Training will be provided to the right applicant who demonstrates a positive attitude, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field.

Provide superior customer service to all patients and guests.

Answer multi-line phones and assist patients with questions.

Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.

Obtain and update insurance information and other necessary patient information.

Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, office policies, and legally required documents.

Process patient payments, including co-pays and uninsured visits.

Assist with insurance verification.

Schedule appointments for new and returning patients based on physician and PLNP availability.

Maintain accurate patient records and information in the electronic health record (EHR).

Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and assist with scheduling testing for off-site services.

Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.

Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and front-office team members.

Learn and follow office procedures, workflows, and patient privacy requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice.

Previous medical office, administrative, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Familiarity with medical terminology is desired.

Medical, Dental, and Vision: Effective the 1st of the month after 60 days of full-time employment.

Company-paid STD, LTD, and Life: Effective the 1st of the month after 1 year of full-time employment.

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Responsibilities may occasionally require the applicant to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The applicant must also be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds.
