Caregiver
We are seeking a dependable, respectful, and self-motivated Caregiver to support an adult member in their home. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, take initiative, and provide compassionate, person-centered care.
About the Member
The member is a 37-year-old transgender adult who uses a wheelchair and requires bariatric-level care considerations. The member is an artist who enjoys painting and crocheting and values a calm, respectful home environment. Applicants should be respectful of the member's identity, personal beliefs, and lifestyle.
The home includes a friendly cat; applicants must be comfortable working around pets.
Schedule
- 20 hours per week
- 5 shifts per week (Monday–Friday)
- 4-hour shifts
- Midday schedule (approximately 10:00 AM–2:00 PM; 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping (mopping 2–3 times per week, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen cabinets, and general home upkeep)
- Daily dishes and kitchen cleanup
- Laundry and bed making daily
- Trash removal every other day
- Bathroom cleaning, including daily toilet cleaning
- Meal preparation every other day
- Grocery organization and putting items away
- Cleaning kitchen cupboards
- Medication reminders and assistance with medication box setup
- Assistance with bathing/showering twice per week
- Oxygen equipment maintenance (cleaning oxygen/CPAP tubing weekly and monthly maintenance)
- Other tasks as needed

- Self-starter who works well independently
- Respectful and dependable
- Respectful of diverse spiritual beliefs and able to maintain professional boundaries regarding personal religious views
- Cat-friendly and comfortable working around pets
- Able to follow routine tasks while also taking initiative when needed
Pay: $17.00 per hour
