AED Stratecon is seeking a full-time Mechanical Superintendent to manage daily field operations for overseas construction projects in Europe and the Middle East. This role oversees onsite activities, contractor performance, and schedule compliance while ensuring work meets U.S. construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise daily construction activities and subcontractor performance onsite.
· Ensure contractors submit required documentation and complete work within established timelines.
· Experience with HVAC systems
· HVAC insulating experience
· HVAC equipment installation experience
· Ability to identify, quantify, order, arrange, and control HVAC materials
· Familiar with using various HVAC power/hand tools, such as: shears, breaks, punches/forming presses, edging/crimping machines, hammers, drills, etc.
· Ability to layout, fabricate, install, and test in accordance with SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors)
· HVAC commercial/industrial sheet metal experience
· Oversee construction across multiple trades, including civil, structural, mechanical, materials, and finishes.
· Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, schedules, and U.S. construction practices.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of supervisory field experience in construction.
· Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and industry standards.
· Experience managing multi-discipline construction work; resume must reflect relevant trade experience.
· HVAC instrumentation and controls experience
· HVAC Preventive maintenance
· HVAC Balancing experience
· Active Top Secret security clearance.
