The Role
We're looking for a dynamic, heart-led teachers to take ownership of their classroom and make a real difference every single day. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily classroom activities that are safe, engaging, and inclusive for children across various developmental stages
- Design and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles and individual student needs
- Use positive reinforcement and proven behavior management strategies to create a calm, productive classroom environment
- Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, and fellow educators to support children with diverse needs — including those with autism or developmental disabilities
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining detailed progress documentation and behavioral records
- Conduct ongoing assessments to track developmental milestones and adjust instruction accordingly
- Integrate learning technology to enrich literacy, math, and physical education experiences
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with parents and guardians through consistent, meaningful communication
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a daycare, preschool, Montessori, or early childhood education setting
- Solid understanding of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices
- Experience supporting children with autism, developmental disabilities, or other diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes, behavioral therapy techniques, and progress documentation
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, structured learning environment
- Excellent communicator — with children, families, and colleagues alike
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Clearance, and Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred — but equivalent experience will be considered
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to inclusive, compassionate education
