This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate flat bed trucks . As a vital part of our logistics operation, you’ll navigate over-the-road (OTR) routes, utilize GPS navigation systems. Your expertise in truck driving and cargo handling will keep our supply chain moving smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial flat bed trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit.
- Navigate routes using GPS systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals at multiple destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues..
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or unforeseen issues during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license.
- Demonstrated knowledge of truck driving
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for long-distance over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
- Delivery driver experience emphasizing safe driving practices and customer service excellence.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks related to truck loading/unloading in compliance with safety standards.
Pay: $700.00 - $2,000.00 per week
