The Entry-Level Digitizing Technician is responsible for converting artwork into high-quality embroidery files for production. Uses graphic design software such, such as CorelDRAW, to prepare artwork and Tajima digitizing software to create embroidery programs for Tajima embroidery machines. The technician works closely with the production team to ensure designs meet quality standards, stitch efficiently, and are production-ready.
- Create and modify artwork using CorelDRAW or similar graphic design software.
- Convert customer artwork into embroidery-ready stitch files using Tajima digitizing software.
- Optimize stitch paths, densities, underlay, pull compensation, and sequencing for high-quality embroidery.
- Test and edit embroidery files to ensure accurate stitch quality and machine performance.
- Prepare production-ready file for Tajima embroidery machines.
- Maintain organized digital files and production records.
- Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot embroidery issues and improve design quality.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Follow company quality standards and operating procedures.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Certificate or training in graphic design, embroidery digitizing, or related field is a plus.
Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW or similar vector graphic software.
Familiarity with Tajima digitizing software is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of embroidery techniques and stitch types is an advantage.
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
