Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Support personnel at NSWC, you will play a crucial role in assisting our sales team in promoting and selling HVAC equipment to our valued clients. Your in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and experience in the HVAC industry will be instrumental in providing excellent customer support and ensuring that our clients receive the best solutions for their HVAC requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Support: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding HVAC equipment, applications, and technical specifications. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to help clients make informed decisions about their HVAC needs.
2. Quoting and Pricing: Collaborate with the sales team to prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on customer requirements, equipment specifications, and pricing guidelines.
3. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of NSWC's HVAC equipment and stay up-to-date with the latest product developments, features, and industry trends.
4. Order Processing: Process incoming sales orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and communicated to the appropriate departments for timely fulfillment.
5. Technical Assistance: Offer technical support to clients and colleagues, addressing any concerns or challenges related to the use, installation, or maintenance of HVAC equipment.
6. Relationship Building: Cultivate positive and long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to NSWC's products and services.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to address complex technical requirements and propose custom solutions when necessary.
8. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the HVAC industry to contribute valuable insights for the company's growth strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Additional HVAC certifications or training are a plus.
2. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales support, or a related role within the HVAC industry.
3. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC systems, and air distribution equipment.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist clients in finding appropriate HVAC solutions.
6. Computer Skills: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and communication tools.
7. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to achieve company objectives.
