Permanent Lighting Installer
Versa Lights installs premium permanent lighting systems on homes and businesses across Utah. We’re growing and looking for reliable installers who are comfortable with hands-on outdoor work, ladders, roofs, tools, and clean exterior construction.
This is a 1099 contractor role for someone who wants performance-based pay, paid training, and the opportunity to grow with a fast-moving company.
You’ll be installing aluminum lighting track, running low-voltage wiring, setting up lighting systems, and making sure each job looks clean, professional, and premium.
Pay Structure
This role starts with paid training.
Training Pay:
$18–$20/hour, depending on experience
The goal is to complete training within 1–2 weeks, depending on your skill level and how quickly you pick up the install process.
After training, installers move to production-based pay, paid by the linear foot installed.
Trained installers commonly average 120–150 linear feet per day, which can average around:
$270–$340 per day
Actual earnings depend on production, job difficulty, weather, roofline layout, and overall efficiency.
There may also be opportunities for additional production bonuses based on weekly output, quality, reliability, and completed jobs.
The faster and cleaner you get, the more you can earn.
