- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menu plans, and special dietary requirements.
What You Bring:
- Ability to cook meals from scratch in a high-volume setting.
- Familiarity with basic nutrition, dietary needs, and food handling best practices.
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to support those in recovery.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a structured, healthcare-related environment.
- Prior food service or cooking experience required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- ServSafe or other food safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in a residential, healthcare, or institutional kitchen setting.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, on-site position.
- This position is in an inpatient rehab and mental health facility. Applicants should be comfortable working around patients in a structured healthcare setting and must maintain professionalism, boundaries, and confidentiality at all times.
