Role Description
We’re looking for a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team and help property owners solve complex building challenges. From forensic site inspections to repair and construction design, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, lasting solutions.
Salary Range $65,000-$80,000
What You’ll Do
- Perform on-site investigations and structural assessments of homes, buildings, and other structures.
- Prepare forensic engineering evaluations and technical reports.
- Design structural solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Support construction administration and oversee project execution.
- Communicate findings clearly with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Travel to inspection sites across residential and commercial properties.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred).
- 0-2 years of structural engineering experience.
- EIT Certification or able to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and client interaction abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to perform inspections in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and roofs (must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, and balance).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
