The Sheet Line Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and adjusting the extrusion sheet line, making adjustments to produce a sheet within spec, and operating peripherical equipment such as hoppers, presses, grinders, and printing machines. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow instructions, effective communication, and the capacity for coordination and control movement.
DESCRIPTION

Complete the proper start-up and shutdown of equipment.

Load materials into extruder and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.

Move controls to activate and adjust for the extruding process to ensure product quality.

Perform die and color changes as requested by the required processes.

Set the correct parameters to maintain process control.

Replace screen changers as required.
-
Perform housekeeping tasks on the machine and in the area as directed by the supervisor.

Ensure accurate reporting of consumed items such as parts, scrap material, and colorant.

Record production data and print labels using a computer.

Ensure that all safety standards and regulations are followed, promoting a culture of safety and maintaining compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
