Changes Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing team. This position plays an essential role in preparing patients for surgery by providing exceptional clinical care, education, and support throughout the pre-operative process.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct pre-operative appointments for surgical patients.
- Review medical history, medications, allergies, and overall surgical readiness.
- Obtain and document vital signs and required clinical information.
- Provide comprehensive patient education regarding surgical preparation, recovery, medications, and post-operative expectations.
- Coordinate required medical clearances, laboratory work, imaging, and additional testing.
- Ensure all surgical documentation, consents, and required paperwork are complete and accurate prior to surgery.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, patient care coordinators, anesthesia providers, and outside physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist providers and the clinical team with patient care and workflow as needed.
- Deliver a luxury-level patient experience through compassionate, professional, and attentive care.
Qualifications
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of four (4) years of nursing experience required.
- At least four (4) years of experience caring for pre-operative surgical patients is strongly preferred.
- Plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, ambulatory surgery, or other surgical specialty experience highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Professional appearance and exceptional bedside manner.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); Nextech experience is a plus.
Pay: $26.25 - $40.00 per hour
