Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center, a long-term care facility and assisted living program, is currently seeking a dynamic and energetic full-time Activities Worker to join our Activities Department. We are dedicated to providing outstanding care to our residents and patients. Candidates must be available to work weekdays, holidays and some weekends. - Experience working Electronic Medical Record is a +.
- Ability to play a musical instrument is a +.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to learn skills necessary to carry out routine department tasks.
- Ability to work with total resident population regardless of functional level.
- Ability to propose and develop new programs to meet the changing needs of residents.
- Ability to motivate residents to maximize activity involvement.
- Ability to be flexible in regard to responsibilities and working hours.
