In this energetic role, you'll provide top-notch grooming services that enhance each pet’s comfort and appearance while building trusting relationships with pet owners. Your expertise will help ensure every furry friend leaves feeling pampered and looking their best, making a positive impact on both pets and their families.
Duties
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats to meet breed standards and owner preferences
- Handle animals with care, ensuring proper restraint and safety during grooming procedures
- Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims to promote pet health and hygiene
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide after-care advice
- Assist with animal handling tasks such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and managing animal behavior during grooming sessions
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and ensure all tools are sanitized and in good condition

Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming or animal care is required, especially with dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Knowledge and experience with dog training techniques is a plus for understanding animal behavior and health needs
- Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet coat styling, and pet nail trimming techniques
- Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely when handling large or heavy pets or equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
