Job Title: Clinical Director (Mental Health & Substance Use Services)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to lead and oversee our mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of behavioral health care, and expertise in program development, compliance, and clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all mental health and substance use disorder services
- Ensure compliance with insurance carrier requirements, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols, policies, and best practices
- Oversee and coordinate patient care, ensuring individualized and effective treatment planning
- Create and manage group therapy schedules and program structure
- Facilitate and lead group therapy sessions as needed
- Conduct 1:1 sessions and provide clinical support to therapists and staff
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinical team members
- Perform regular chart audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Monitor program performance and implement improvements as necessary
Qualifications:
- Active licensure in a clinical field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance requirements, utilization review, and documentation standards
- Experience developing group programming and clinical protocols
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
