Job Title: Warehouseman
Location: Paramount, CA
Shift: M-F, 7:00am - 3:45pm
Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
JOB OVERVIEW
The Warehouseman is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of materials within our facility—from receiving and storage to kitting and shipping. You will ensure inventory accuracy and support production by managing equipment and supplies in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory & ERP Management: Accurately perform system transactions (receipts, shipments, and material issuance) using our ERP system.
- Kitting & Assembly: Build multi-component kits for delivery to manufacturing operations or final customers.
- Shipping & Receiving: Package parts securely for shipment to ensure on-time delivery; verify all documentation for accuracy.
- Warehouse Optimization: Determine the best storage methods based on temperature, weight limits, and turnover; maintain organized stock records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Collaboration: Maintain daily cleanliness of the warehouse and communicate effectively with the Planning and Manufacturing teams.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or a related field.
- Technical: Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems is required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and clear communication skills.
- Adaptability: Capability to handle diverse logistics situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
