Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician with strong mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and industrial maintenance abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Machinery installation, repair, and troubleshooting
- Welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG/Stick preferred)
- Industrial electrical work with controls/PLC familiarity
- Hydraulics, HVAC/R, and mechanical systems
- Facility maintenance and general handyman-type repairs
You’ll work on a variety of equipment, support multiple job sites, and help ensure safe, efficient operations in commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial machinery/equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams
- Diagnose issues using precision instruments (ammeters, ohmmeters, diagnostic tools)
- Perform welding/fabrication and mechanical repairs using proper techniques
- Work with hydraulic systems, low/high voltage electrical systems, and HVAC/R components
- Support facility maintenance and handyman-level tasks as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Assist with installation of new machinery, upgrades, and modifications
- Safely operate lifts, tools, and industrial equipment
- Collaborate with technical sales teams when customer support is needed
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with a strong customer service mindset
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Tech, or similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and controls (preferred)
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG/Stick — per location standards)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, diagrams
- Background in industrial electrician work is highly encouraged
- Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R, and industrial maintenance practices
- Experience using precision measuring tools (ammeters, ohmmeters, gauges)
- English fluency and strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work OT when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
