- Use and maintain PPE (personal protection equipment).
- Alternates with co-workers to load/unload the mechanized paint line.
- Operates and stands on a moving hydraulic personnel lift while spraying paint.
- Selects correct coating to be applied to product.
- Mix paint to correct viscosity.
- Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.
- Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
- Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat to specific tolerance.
- Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
- Responsible for proper hazardous waste container management and emergency response as required
upon completion of required hazardous waste training.
- Other duties may be assigned.
