Duties
- Design, program, and commission robotic systems using industry-leading platforms such as Fanuc and other industrial robotic controls to optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, including ladder logic (LD) programming, installation, repair, and system upgrades to ensure seamless automation operations.
- Configure human-machine interface (HMI) systems for intuitive operator control and real-time monitoring of automation processes.
- Integrate industrial networks and distributed control systems (DCS) to enable reliable communication among equipment, sensors, and control units.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to facilitate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures or process deviations to implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop lean manufacturing solutions that enhance productivity while maintaining CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Program robot controllers for complex tasks such as robot programming, vision inspection system integration, tooling setup, and machining automation.
- Perform industrial equipment troubleshooting including PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls diagnostics, and mechanical or electrical system repairs.

Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on automation or robotics engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc robotic systems or similar industrial robotic platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic (LD), along with PLC systems installation and repair skills.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems—including schematic reading and interpretation—is essential for effective troubleshooting and system integration.
- Practical experience in robotics engineering—robot programming, vision inspection system integration, and robot system troubleshooting—is highly desirable.
- SolidWorks proficiency for designing tooling or fixtures used in automated processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial controls including distributed control systems (DCS), Human-Machine Interface (HMI) configuration, and industrial networks enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis on complex equipment issues while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
