Duties
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicle makes and models with precision and care.
- Perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and inspections to identify potential issues early.
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to assess tire wear patterns and other mechanical concerns.
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a positive service experience.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently during service procedures.
- Heavy lifting of tires and related equipment to meet safety standards while maintaining productivity.
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, wheel alignment, and tire service techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically active environment.
- Service technician experience or similar roles in automotive settings is advantageous.
