Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Drivers (Independent Contractor) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely while providing exceptional customer service. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries. MUST HAVE A SPRINTER VAN OR CARGO EXTENDED VAN
Earnings:
- $300 per driver Per Day, plus weekly performance bonus
- Dedicated lanes up to 7 days a week, once you are assigned a route, you will service that route on a daily basis.
- Average 8-10 hrs per day per route (expect up to 10 hrs, however on average may be less than)
- Average 85 stops (this fluctuates higher and lower based off of the day)
- Paid on a weekly basis
- Must enroll into Openforce for direct deposit commissions
Duties
- Operate a SPRINTER VAN OR CARGO EXTENDED VAN
- Pickup at local store location, freight will be assigned to you.
- Must use customer's app and having a working smart phone.
- You must scan freight in that's assigned to you, load your own vehicle, unload goods at the correct location.
- Ensure proper handling to prevent damage, complete service with a proof of delivery photo.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Products may weigh 50 lbs or less
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, communicate with dispatcher any issues or discrepancies that has encountered while onsite.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is PREFERRED.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with warehouse/retail operations is a plus.
- Experience with lifting and moving items safely.
- MVR and Background checks will occur
