Schedule:
Until November 6th, 36 hours/week (flexible)
- Monday - Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Beginning November 6th, 40 hours/week
- Monday - Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Children: The older children attend in-person school 3 days per week and homeschool 2 days per week.
- 2-Month-Old Boy: . Nanny begins infant care when he is 6 months old.
- 5-Year-Old Boy: Outgoing, clever, playful, and full of energy.
- 8-Year-Old Boy: Intelligent, kind, creative, and benefits from support with transitions.
About the Role:
This Heights family is seeking a proactive nanny for three children in a lively, loving home. The best fit is creative, steady, and comfortable jumping into busy days with warmth, energy, and initiative.
The older children attend hybrid Montessori schools. Mom leads core lessons on home days, and the nanny helps keep the children engaged through play, activities, movement, art, music, and positive support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create activities based on the children’s interests
- Support active play, creativity, and daily routines
- Help with homeschool flow without leading core lessons
- Prepare supplies for art, music, lessons, and activities
- Beginning November 6, provide infant care
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Organize child-related spaces
Ideal Candidate:
A warm, communicative nanny with strong experience caring for school-aged children. You enjoy high-energy kids, creative play, and a home with a lot happening at once.
You are patient, flexible, proactive, and able to take informed initiative as the day shifts.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of childcare or teaching experience
- Experience with high-energy and school-aged children
- Creative, active, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication and openness to feedback
- Highly attentive to severe food allergies
Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
