Angiocchi Consulting is proud to support a premium luxury retailer in the search for a Retail Sales Associate to help create a warm, educational, and trust‑building experience inside the brand’s North Bethesda showroom. In this part‑time, on‑site role, you’ll welcome shoppers, guide them through our certified organic mattresses and bedding, and ensure every customer leaves feeling informed, confident, and cared for. As the first point of contact in the showroom, you’ll blend product expertise with genuine connection supporting daily store operations, maintaining a polished retail environment, and contributing to a customer experience that reflects our commitment to healthier materials, responsible manufacturing, and exceptional service.

LOCATION: North Bethesda, MD 20852 - Part-Time/Temporary, 25-30 hours per week, 3-4 months with the potential to extend longer. Weekends & Holidays may be required
COMPENSATION: $28.00/hour + 1% monthly commission

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers exploring our product line. You’ll help guide them through their options, answer questions, and make sure they feel confident in their choices. We're looking for someone who's personable, dependable, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome customers and create a friendly, low-pressure shopping experience
- Educate shoppers on our certified organic product offerings
- Use a consultative sales approach to help customers find the right fit
- Assist with daily store operations, including opening/closing, transactions, and inventory
- Keep the showroom tidy, well-stocked, and visually inviting
- Accurately enter customer information into POS/CRM systems
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or customer service
- Previous mattress, furniture, or luxury sales experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable using both Mac OS and Windows systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physically able to lift up to 40lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift
- Willingness to travel to other local showrooms occasionally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or customer service required
