Duties
- Develop and maintain compiler components, ensuring compatibility with multiple programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and C#.
- Optimize compiler performance for scalability across distributed systems and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
- Design and implement system architectures that support high-performance application development using microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern web frameworks such as React Express.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compiler features into larger software solutions utilizing Agile software development methodologies.
- Implement best practices in software engineering including version control (Git, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and design patterns to ensure robust and maintainable codebases.
- Analyze system requirements to develop scalable solutions that support large-scale data processing and complex computational tasks.
- Contribute to the development of APIs and system interfaces that facilitate seamless integration with other platforms and services.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold high standards of quality assurance.
- Stay current with emerging trends in quantum engineering, programming languages, and compiler technologies to continually enhance system capabilities.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development with a focus on compiler engineering or related fields involving system design for system development.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, as well as on-premises systems.
- Hands-on experience with scalable systems architecture utilizing microservices, RESTful APIs, and containerization tools.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server; experience with version control systems like GitHub, Git, SVN.
- Practical understanding of software design patterns, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), CI/CD pipelines, and application development best practices.
- Knowledge of web development technologies including JavaScript frameworks (React), front-end development tools, Linux environments, and.NET framework.
- Background in software engineering principles applied to large-scale projects involving APIs, scalability strategies, and system optimization.
- Additional expertise in quantum engineering or advanced computational methods is considered a plus.
