Our Hospice is looking for amazing CNAs in the Maricopa/Casa Grande area.
Our growing hospice is looking for a FULL TIME CNA with a hospice heart who wants to work for a company that cares. We are dedicated to providing compassionate hospice care to those in need. Our patients may reside in facilities and or private home environments.
A hospice CNA provides compassionate personal and medical care to terminally ill patients, supporting their comfort, dignity, and quality of life while assisting the hospice care team In this role, you will:
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding by following the aide care plan determined by the RN.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient service and support
- Document all care provided in the patient’s medical chart, communicate changes in condition to the RN and care team, and coordinate with family members and facility staff as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families and community partners.
Qualifications
- Current CNA or LNA certification
- Proficient in basic life support and patient care
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems, Homecare Homebase a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- In-home hospice experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings with willingness to learn end-of-life care
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Pay is hourly, with mileage reimbursement. Full time employees earn PTO, receive paid holiday time, and may participate in the company Benefits package.
