Production Supervisor (Weekend Shift) - Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead weekend operations in a fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting employees, improving processes, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to provide support and resolve production issues
- Ensure all safety policies and quality standards are followed
- Monitor production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet production deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
- Hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, and safety
- Promote teamwork, cross-training, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with maintenance, scheduling, and management to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience with laser cutting, press brakes, welding, and robotic welding operations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Infor ERP, AS400, Controlled Warehouse Systems, and Paycor is preferred
- Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment
