NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person‑centered care. We’re looking for a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to support our General Counsel, manage a diverse caseload, and ensure our legal operations run seamlessly—so our communities can focus on what matters most.
What you’ll do:
Manage litigation from start to finish: case filings, discovery, trial prep, and calendar deadlines
Coordinate with external counsel and serve as a key point of contact for communication and collaboration
Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents with precision
Conduct legal research on state and federal laws, keeping us compliant across California, Nevada, and Washington
Assist with internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and sensitive matters—always with discretion
Maintain organized case files, litigation databases, and status reports for the General Counsel
What you bring:
Must have: Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
Must have: 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (law firm senior‑level background strongly preferred)
Must have: Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technology-driven workflows
Must have: Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills; ability to juggle multiple cases independently
Must have: Excellent written and verbal communication, with absolute confidentiality and professionalism
Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree
Nice to have: Direct experience in healthcare law, long‑term care, or employment/labor law
