About On-Board Engineering Corp:
On-Board Engineering Corp is a professionally licensed Full Service Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) partner with Design Build capabilities, specializing in small to mid-sized capital and maintenance projects in the industrial and manufacturing marketplace.
Position Details:
Position Type: Full Time
Job Location: Hybrid- remote and in-person support of our teams in Baton Rouge, LA and Geismar, LA
Benefits: Health Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision), PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401k
Compensation: $50/hr - $65/hr+ based upon qualifications and experience.
*Drug and background screenings required*
Qualifications and Duties:
- Design of steel structures (buildings, pipe rack, equipment support structures, etc.)
- Design of reinforced concrete structures and foundations.
- Wood and Cold Formed Steel design experience a plus.
- Familiar with ASCE and IBC Codes.
- Field experience in chemical / industrial plant settings
- AutoCAD proficiency a plus
- Ability to work remotely with Project Teams effectively
- Ability to work on site when required
- Valid TWIC Card
- Education – BS Civil Engineering or similar
- PE License a plus. Ability to get license highly preferred.
