Order/Cherry Picker Operator positions currently open for our client in their busy Bloomingdale distribution center. Your key responsibilities include picking orders from multi-level racks, putting away product, and staging orders for shipment. If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented and physical job, this is the job for you!
Job Responsibilities:

Accurately picking product from multi-level racks using a cherry picker, counterbalance, and/or reach truck

Staging, loading, and unloading shipments to and from trailers and containers
-
Efficiently stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas
-
Labeling pallets accurately and preparing products for scheduled shipping
-
Breaking down and consolidating pallets for put-away or picking
-
Performing daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and equipment
-
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment
-
Complying with OSHA, MSDS, and established safety procedures
-
Ad hoc duties as they arise
Requirements:
-
2+ years of recent warehouse and equipment operation experience
-
Proficiency in operating an order/cherry picker, counterbalance, and/or reach truck
-
Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50+ lbs frequently throughout an 8+ hour shift
-
Comfortable working at heights of up to 50 feet
-
Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English fluently)

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and customer service
