Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
- Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Verify prescription accuracy and ensure safe medication dispensing.
- Provide medication counseling and answer customer questions regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter products.
- Process prescription insurance claims and resolve billing or coverage issues.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, order medications, and manage controlled substances.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist (RPh) license.
- Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Candidates residing beyond 50 miles from the assignment location are encouraged to apply.
