Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Bridgeport Waterfront Resort is looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on individual to join our team as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician. Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for helping maintain the resort's buildings, guest rooms, grounds, pools, hot tub, equipment, and general facilities. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the resort.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and guest rooms.
- Maintain indoor pool, whirlpool, and related equipment.
- Assist with painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, and basic remodeling projects.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
- Maintain the resort grounds, sidewalks, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Assist with seasonal projects including snow removal, landscaping, and property improvements.
- Help move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Document completed work and communicate maintenance concerns to management.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- General maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance problems independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Some Weekends and holidays are required.
- On-call availability may be required.
