Location: This position is based in Olathe, KS for an Apartment Home Community.
Those with Residential, Apartment, Or Mobile Home Maintenance strongly encouraged to apply.
Must have a valid DL.
HVAC Certification is preferred.
- Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs to rental homes, facilities, and streets as needed.
- Complete checklists of the physical condition of community sites prior to and after occupancy. common area lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treat for weeds, weed whip, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
- Ensure community is presentable and inviting at all times, and that it adheres to curb appeal standards.
- Hires and manages maintenance workers.
- Supervises maintenance workers and contractors.
- Organizes and leads maintenance trainings.
- Sets the shift schedule and assignments.
- Develops maintenance policies and procedures.
- Orders tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Responds to maintenance requests.
- Makes sure projects stay on schedule.
- Leads safety inspections at worksites.
- Performs maintenance work as needed.
- Evaluates worksites to determine necessary maintenance work.
- Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
- Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures.
- Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
Pay:$25 an hour; weekly pay
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
