For over 45 years, Anita’s Kitchen has dedicated itself to traditional Lebanese family recipes and gracious hospitality. We currently have an opportunity to add a leader to our back-of-the house operations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Present & perform with a positive attitude while treating AK teammates with respect
- Lead staff by example while clearly communicating expectations and managing their time effectively
- Manage hiring & scheduling of staff
- Work closely with the General Manager to ensure that the FOH & BOH is operating as one effective unit to achieve both our in-store & catering goals
- Work closely with our Commissary Kitchen Head to sustain the appropriate amount of food inventory levels while managing all other 3rd party suppliers
- Execute recipes & cleanliness to ownership's quality & consistency standards
- Know proper set-up, operation, and break-down of all work stations and all food production equipment
- Rotate, label, and date all stored foods to maintain ingredients' freshness & quality
Basic Qualifcations:
- 2+ years of kitchen manager experience in a quick service or full-service restaurant with experience directly managing others
- Lead by example while communicating pertinent information effectively
- Possess strong organizational habits and a team-first mentality
- Follow recipe & production specifications while quickly and efficiently producing high quality food under pressure
- Experience in ordering and managing daily large product shipments from multiple food distributors
- Strong ability to manage and care for all inventory, including prepped products, perishables, frozen items, dry stock items, and cooking equipment
- Physically capable of handling and moving 40+ lbs in limited space
- Fluency in English required including reading, writing, speaking; basic math required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a kitchen manager or other position that required the skills highlighted above
- Food Safety Certified

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
