American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with pediatric experience for a night shift weekend contract at a children's hospital in New Orleans, LA.

X-Ray unit serving a pediatric patient population
-
3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule
-
Floating and weekend coverage required
-
Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
-
Pediatric experience required
-
ARRT-R and BLS required; a temporary LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technology license) is accepted and takes 3–5 days to issue once the fee is paid and proof of ARRT certification is received

Louisiana state license required if applicable

A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to support optimal department function

Demonstrates proficiency with all X-ray equipment, protocols, and procedures

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Any scrub color is acceptable

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible

Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
