Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking or serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Follow food safety protocols to handle ingredients properly and prevent contamination
- Support chefs and cooks by preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables or portioning items
- Help with catering setups and food service during events or busy meal times
- Ensure proper storage of food items in accordance with health regulations
- Contribute to maintaining a hygienic environment by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food handling, or the food industry preferred
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic culinary techniques
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and food service efficiently under pressure
