Job Summary
Cebada Rooftop in Coral Gabkes is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Line Cook specializing in seafood cuisine, with a focus on Crudos, Ceviche’s and Oysters, to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble seafood dishes, with an emphasis on Cebiches, Crudos (raw seafood preparations) and oysters, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Skillfully handle food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production to deliver authentic flavors.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist in menu planning by contributing ideas for seafood presentations and seasonal specials.
- Support high-volume food service operations by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours, providing excellent food service to guests.
- Follow all kitchen safety protocols and sanitation practices to uphold cleanliness standards.
Experience
- Previous experience working in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of seafood preparation techniques such as poaching, grilling, and braising.
- Proven skills in food handling, safety management, and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation within the culinary industry.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid knife skills and experience in food industry roles involving food production and catering are beneficial.
