Medical Assistant – Full-Time | Institute for Reproductive Health (Louisville)

We’re seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Assistant to join our Louisville team. The ideal candidate is a motivated and caring professional who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment and finds fulfillment in helping patients achieve their family-building goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
- Obtain and document medical histories and vital signs
- Provide clear, supportive communication to patients regarding procedures and instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and accurately manage EMR documentation
- Call in prescriptions to pharmacies as directed
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
- Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Foster a warm, efficient, and organized clinical environment
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a medical or fertility/OB-GYN setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for patient-centered reproductive healthcare
Schedule
- Full-time (32 hours)
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
