We are seeking a mission-driven Clinical Director to join our leadership team and guide the clinical vision of HealHub Behavioral Health LLC. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and maintaining regulatory compliance—including Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards.
The ideal candidate is a licensed clinical leader with a deep understanding of healthcare program management, strong interpersonal and operational skills, and a passion for serving diverse communities. This role will be instrumental in driving clinical excellence, compliance, and innovation across our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all clinical operations to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and operational excellence.
- Develop, implement, and routinely evaluate clinical policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Partner with medical and behavioral health teams to establish and maintain evidence-based treatment protocols and clinical standards.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards and lead the organization through accreditation and regulatory reviews.
- Plan and deliver ongoing training and development initiatives to support clinical best practices and professional growth.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven corrective actions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, staff engagement, and high morale.
- Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and executive leadership, addressing operational challenges and enhancing communication.
Qualifications:
Requirements Qualification:
- Master’s degree or higher (Ph.D or Psy.D) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Nursing, Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted clinical license in Washington: LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, or APRN.
- Minimum 5–10 years of clinical experience, including 2–5 years in leadership or healthcare management.
- Experience in outpatient, residential, or hospital behavioral health settings.
- Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare billing and documentation practices.
- Proficient in EHR systems and clinical reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, and licensing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Demonstrated success in leading interdisciplinary clinical teams, including both licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Proven experience directing behavioral health or medical teams in outpatient, residential, and/or hospital-based settings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; adept at managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in healthcare operations, including program development, service delivery optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards, state and federal regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices.
- Familiar with Medicaid and Medicare billing processes and clinical documentation standards.
- Skilled in managing and supporting licensing, accreditation, audits, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Clinical Expertise
- Extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
- Proficient in clinical risk assessments, individualized care planning, and outcome-based evaluation.
- Experienced in leveraging Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical data systems to support care coordination and reporting.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
