Role Description
We are seeking a highly qualified Legal Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in navigating the complex legal landscape related to health and wellness products. The Legal Supervisor will be responsible for managing external litigation, addressing product-related legal issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations in collaboration with our Marketing and Product Development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all external legal disputes and litigation related to our products.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to review and supervise the compliance of existing products, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal support and guidance to the Product Development team, offering advice on compliance and regulatory matters for new products.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure company-wide compliance.
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulations affecting the health and wellness industry and advise the company on necessary actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the health and wellness industry or related fields.
- Good understanding of federal and state regulations pertaining to dietary supplements and nutritional products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
