Summary/Objective:
As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the General Manager will research, develop, lead, and execute divisional strategies to drive short- and long-term organizational goals for profitable business growth and global brand value.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serves as a key member of the executive management team and works with the CEO to develop the PSIMP strategic plan and is instrumental in its execution.
- Leads the manufacturing group in its day-to-day functions.
- Fully supports the safety policy and initiatives of the company. Leads the safety committee to promote a safety culture that drives to “Zero Incidents.”
- Provides leadership and management to all facets of the production facility.
- Develops and leads short- and long-term strategic plans that align to the PSIMP overall strategy, vision, brand, and values, and drive divisional success.
- Builds the vision, business case, and supporting documents required to substantiate and drive initiatives forward with senior management consensus.
- Reviews and approves specific initiatives that require capital expenditure to ensure they are in line with business objectives, with senior management buy-in on large investments.
- Develops, oversees, and manages key strategic and operational activities to ensure that continuous innovation, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met or exceeded.
- Develops, oversees, and manages the ongoing performance of the various direct-report teams through key performance indicator checkpoints, contingency plan activities, and month-to-month status of results to ensure company objectives around revenue, profit, people development/rewards, and enhanced processes are achieved.
- Champions and stewards PSIMP’s strategy, vision, and values. Serves as an example of “best-in-class” adherence to corporate policies; creates and sustains a culture of high ethics, integrity, and trust.
- Provides the selection, direction, development, mentoring, empowerment, and accountability needed for high-performing teams that motivate, engage, reward, and retain top talent.
- Participates in and provides both financial and non-financial analysis, recommendations, and direction for targeted business goal achievement.
- Provides accurate planning data to Corporate through forecasts, budgets, and P&L inputs.
- Collaborates with Sales leadership to align operations with the sales forecast.
- Analyzes sales and operational results, as they relate to established objectives, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to resolve problematic situations and achieve promised results.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, as well as all environmental reporting for the facility.
- Performs other duties, responsibilities, and activities, which may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Qualifications:
Education and experience are required for the role.
- College degree required; BS in Business preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience in an operations management role.
- Experience in the custom injection molding industry strongly preferred; candidates whose background is specific to custom injection molding (rather than adjacent or unrelated manufacturing industries) are ideal.
- Hands-on experience with IQMS (or comparable ERP/MES manufacturing software) strongly preferred.
- Must be well versed in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements, including quality practices and procedures, and maintain an internal audit program.
- Strong computer literacy with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, project management, and manufacturing software.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with customers and employees.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, able to multi-task.
- Punctual and dependable; able to work with little supervision.
- Flexible and innovative in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Pay: $160,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
