Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in Human Resources? We are seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant to support our Talent Acquisition and HR teams. Candidates with experience in the hospitality, gaming, casino, or entertainment industries are highly preferred.
Position Summary
The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process while providing administrative assistance to the Human Resources department. This position will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a seamless candidate and new-hire experience while assisting with a variety of day-to-day HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruiting and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation.
- Schedule interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Conduct employment verifications and assist with pre-employment screening processes.
- Prepare and maintain employee records, files, and HR databases.
- Assist with employee onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support payroll, attendance tracking, and other HR administrative functions as needed.
- Ensure all employee documentation is completed accurately and maintained confidentially.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and HR projects.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office support experience needed.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality, gaming, casino, or entertainment industries preferred but not needed.
- Previous HR, staffing, recruiting, or onboarding experience is a MUST.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
