Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate xray equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols during all procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment logs for accurate documentation and quality assurance.
- Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in emergency medicine, urgent care settings, and diagnostic radiology.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray imaging modalities.
